Super 30 is really amazing, it does tremendous justice to the story, there is no unnecessary romance or deviation from the story. Hrithik Roshan has done a lot of justice to the character, he has completely transformed into Mr.Anand Kumar. Though Hrithik is not his attractive self, he is charming in a different way. He literally brought tears in my eyes in one of his scenes and it is just not because I'm a huge fan but also for the performance, that was extremely overwhelming. It's definitely worth watching and the movie brings the value of great teachers back in our lives, filling us with memories of our own teacher-student experiences... The only sad part was that Hrithik didn’t dance, so hope to see him back on screen soon dancing and charming everyone around.

This is a real life story of Anand Kumar, who teaches 30 students and almost all of them qualify for IIT. Hrithik Roshan plays Anand Kumar. He does a great job. Acting wise I can't find any major fault in his portrayal of Anand Kumar. But director does not do his job well. He put many masala elements in it to appeal to majority of the audience but that does little for the story like item song.

Super 30 is life story of Ace mathematician Anand Kumar who rose to fame for his philanthropic protect Super 30 batch where he trains under privileged kids to get into IITs. Hrithik Roshan as Anand did a fabulous job. With tanned, rough look he portrayed superb emotions and acted with ease in teacher's role. An inspirational film which some brilliant storyline depicting struggles, passion of a brilliant with some excellent acting makes this film, a must watch!

'Super 30' is an excellent movie. It is super inspirational. Based on a true story of maths wizard who when unable to go to Cambridge upon invitation, becomes a part of tuition class, leaves it and suddenly decides to coach poor students for free. against all odds, these 30 poor students are so motivated by Hritik as a teacher that they do wonders. Some viewers may not like the film as it doesn't have much love, romance, fights. Good performance by Pankaj Tripathi and Mrinal Thakur, Virendra Saxena as father and Aditya Srivastava as CEO of classes.Brilliant out of box thinking inspired by the coach like closing eyes and visualizing. The song 'question mark' sung by Hrithik himself, is good.

Super30 is film with beautiful story telling and amazing performances by all the actors of the film. Hrithik Roshan is one man who changed his whole personality to get into the character of the role. Your acting says that it's unnecessary to look like the real man but it's the right emotion which should be a connect and you did that brilliantly.

Inspired by maths whiz Anand Kumar, who has seen an astounding success rate for IIT admissions year after year with his batch of ‘Super 30’ kids, the film charts his motivating journey as a fictional account. A life dotted with controversies and hardships, Anand (Hrithik Roshan) literally rises from the rubble to mould his dreams. The story doesn’t touch upon the certain controversies surrounding Anand Kumar which have been reported in the media, focusing on his struggles and glory instead. Son of a postman, a young Anand clinches an admission at the Cambridge University owing to his brilliance in mathematics. But when he has to let go of this opportunity of a lifetime solely because he is unable to afford the fees, life hits him hard and breaks his spirit. But that doesn’t last for too long, since he gets picked by Lallanji (Aditya Srivastava) to become a maths teacher for affluent students at an IIT coaching centre, run by him. But soon, his true calling and passion catches up with him and he realizes that he must use his skills to give lesser privileged, bright students a fair chance at life. Of course, along the way, he faces opposition and obstacles one after another, but never loses sight of what he sets out to do. 'Super 30' drives home the message that education is truly the privilege of those who have the access and economic resources. Unfortunately, for many it remains a distant dream, but if given the same opportunities they have it in them to shine equally bright. There are many moments in the movie that will move you – after starting his Super 30 classes, Anand has to literally scrape through – with often the students barely having anything to eat. But their real hunger is for better education and a better life. 'Super 30' has several heartfelt, inspiring moments that touch a chord. When Anand says at one point, “Aapatti se aavishkar ka janm hota hain”, you do believe him, especially after having seen how driven his batch of students are, leaving behind their impoverished lives and literally daring to dream big. But in the second half, the film’s lengthy run-time begins to weigh on the narrative. And some of the plot points come across as far-fetched and overly dramatic, with the background score dominating some scenes unnecessarily. The cinematography (Anay Goswami) of the film however stands out and some of the dialogues hit home. Hrithik Roshan pulls off a solid performance essaying Anand Kumar, capturing his character’s sincerity and determination very well. While his physicality many not be entirely convincing, his performance more than makes up for it. Nandish Singh is earnest and well-cast as Anand’s brother. Mrunal Thakur is effective in her limited screen time. Pankaj Tripathi as the unscrupulous politician is brilliant and Aditya Srivastava matches the villainy of his character to the hilt. Overall, the performances elevate the film. While the narrative does have its flaws, 'Super 30' is a human drama and the story of a teacher who triumphs over the many challenges that life throws at him, to set an example for the world to see. Just for that it’s worth a watch.

The movie is pictured on a real story of Anand Kumar, a Bihari, lower middle class belonging boy whose passion for mathematics reaches him heights inspite of not being able to vouch his offer of studying at Cambridge university. He is flowen out with chances to flourish economically but rather chooses to educate the unprivileged children aspiring to be admitted in IIT since he himself has walked the same path. His strong mentally driven desire to authorise the deserving sets out challenges for him till the end. The trailers haven’t caught up well maybe specially with the comments that seem to have turned off a lot of audiences talking about Hrithik’s Bihari lingo and tan face. But once you start watching the movie, every bit of it starts soaking you into the character and makes you feel alive. First half is extremely entertaining, second half gets a bit boring and might seem slightly unrealistic however the central idea of the movie has been put out really well. The end will make you feel inspired and positive. A must watch for sure.

Rayaan posted a review for Super 30 in Movies
Super 30 - is inspired by the real life character of Anand Kumar, a mathematician who runs an institute for the underprivileged by the same name in Bihar. In real life, Anand Kumar runs a coaching centre to prepare candidates for the IIT JEE, but inducts 30 economically backward students from among them into Super 30, a school that has won many accolades for the humanitarian approach and its academic excellence. In the movie though, Anand (Hrithik Roshan) faces the impossible task of chasing his dream to attend classes in the Cambridge University due to his family's poor background. When his father dies, Anand has to forego his ambition and resorts to selling papad to make their ends meet. He enjoys a brief flirtation with money and fame when an education tycoon picks him up from his personal nadir to run his coaching centre, but soon gives it all up due to an inner calling to alleviate poor but ambitious students to achieve their IIT dreams. Super 30 is Anand Kumar's trials and tribulations in this journey. Hrithik Roshan is powerful in his discharge of the responsibility and puts in his heart and soul into the role. But playing this character was never going to be easy, especially with the small town attributes. This is where Roshan falters - his gait is the usual trademarked one, and the accent is gravely inconsistent. Beleaguered director Vikas Bahl makes Super 30 a commercial hash with some gimmicks including a prolonged and ridiculous take on a Sholay song and a contrived hospital rescue of the hero. I wish he had spent more time to help us connect with the 30 underprivileged students or developed the underdog theme to a more powerful essay. Pankaj Tripathi as the education minister and Aditya Shrivastav as Lallan Singh are wasted. Mrunal Thakur has precious little to do. Nandeesh Singh, Virendra Saxena, Amit Sadh and Surinder Kaur are impressive though. Music by Ajay Atul is ordinary.

Aditya posted a review for Super 30 in Movies
This film is based on the life of Anand Kumar, a brilliant mathematician from a family with little means, located in Bihar. Anand’s passion for mathematics was relentless to the point where he would make back-breaking journeys just to sneak into a college library and study from ‘foreign journals’. His determination lands him a scholarship to Cambridge University, which he then has to forfeit due to his financial circumstances. Anand’s spirit is crushed and defeated but he finds hope in one thing that his father (Virendra Saxena) always said, “Raja ka beta raja nahi banega, raja wahi hai jo hakdar hoga.” With this ray of sunshine, Anand soon sets out on a journey along with his brother Pranav (Nandish Sandhu) to train 30 brilliant underprivileged children who have passion but no means to fulfill their dreams. What ensues is a roller-coaster ride that takes these 30 children on a journey that prepares them to appear for one of the toughest exams in India – the IIT entrance exam. They face various challenges including having to compete with rich kids from Excellence coaching academy which is run by Lallanji (Aditya Srivastava) who proves to be an enemy. Will these children who once worked in gutters and construction sites be able to crack this exam? Super 30 already has the answer.Hrithik Roshan – the star of this film – does a really good job of portraying the man of the hour, Anand Kumar. His dedication and effort to embody Anand’s character is commendable. The movie does a good job of showcasing how coaching institutes have hit the jackpot when it comes to minting money to train students for this exam. But the focus of the movie is to drive home a very simple message – if you desire something, pursue it passionately and relentlessly and nothing can stop you from achieving it. The supporting cast of this film – Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Sandhu, Aditya Srivastava & Pankaj Tripathi, to name a few, have also played their roles to the tee.

Super 30 is definitely amazing in terms of Hrithik Roshan, Vikas Bahl(Director), background music and the real story of Mr. Anand Kumar & his Super 30. Firstly, this movie without Hrithik is worthless. His acting takes you in the tides of the movie's journey. He himself is so inspiring that the story connects very well with him. His father in the movie has done a great job in terms of the emotional connection between a father and son. Amit Sadh has a small but impactful role. Hrithik's brother in this reel life fits well. You laugh when Pankaj Tripathi is on screen. He is again commendable. Finally, the teenagers (Super 30) are very good and give a real touch to their roles. Secondly, the direction by Vikas Bahl is to be applauded. Every scene is a treat to watch. I was only disappointed by the way the students are shown to get rid of their fear of being among high society students. The examples shown while preparing them for IIT were lovely. The dialogues were inspiring. Vikas Bahl managed to connect with the audience regarding emotional, happy & inspiration sections amazingly well. At one moment I thought that whether this happened really? If yes, its incredible! In conclusion, I salute Mr. Anand Kumar and his students for their work in their challenging period of life, and also the team of this movie for bringing this piece of inspiration to us.

After a long long time I watched a movie which has sank into me and I am carrying it to my home. After log time I saw people clapping in hall. After long time I saw that almost no one was looking anywhere except the screen. In many ways this movie is not just a movie but may even inspire people to change lives and what great can happen to society and nation if you have good teachers. Last week saw Article 15...Was a good movie , had a strong message but somehow it looked incomplete or evading some questions...But Super 30 has raised question and answered it too. A biopic which show you mirror and condition of education and neglect by those who run the nation...But same time also puts the true story of a crusader from Patna who did not just do it once but every year. The movie shows how poverty can become back breaking but when u get a dream and think for others who r forgotten and rejected by the world, you r bound to win. It is an extraordinary story which every single Indian needs to know. About the craft: This movie is top to bottom superb in almost every department. A few scenes look a bit filmy but otherwise, it has good pace all over. Editing is sharp. Songs r hummable. But one song deserves special mention...The Song Go Go NONO Gabbar Singh Basanti....It's a terrific concept showing fire of those sufferers of English which kills the confidence of meritorious guys who can't speak English. Direction is top notch. But special mention is deserved by the casting director...Every single character looks pitch perfect. In second half the movie belongs more to those 30 students than Hrithik himself...And all these first time actors have done brilliant job. Super 30 is a good example after long time..Perhaps 3 idiots...That how a good movie is made when every department performs well. Performance: In trailer Hrithik's Bihari lingo did not impress , but once u start watching the movie this man soaks you inti the emotion and character of Anand Kumar. You feel for him, you root for him. This man makes you feel the struggle and emotions through which the genius has passed. I must say this is the best performance I have seen so far this year...Earlier it was Ranveer Singh for Gully Boy...But this man have left all by miles now with Super 30. Rest of the actors have done equally good job, but the guys veteran actor who played father's role was too good. He lingers with you. Mrunal Thakur is a fresh air to Bollywood...And she holds the promise of being a big star ahead. Pankaj Tripathi is genius. Commenting on his performance would be foolish. But he had small role...Yet he leaves impact as education mafia and education minister. Tripathi is definitely from some other planet. Then the guy who played brother role was also good. And finally Fugga...Played by Vijay Verma of Moin Bhai fame from Gully Boy...Very small role but you will remember it for long...He is sutradhar of the movie and student of Anand Kumar, now a big name in west...Who starts the story while giving a lecture somewhere in foreign. Super 30 is perhaps the best Biopic ever made, a great tribute to teachers of this nation...Alas those who run this nation could learn to respect teachers who build thus world..And alas India could get teachers like Anand Kumar. I hope our ministers watch Super30 and then think of revamping education system of India..And also spit on their own face...Coz Anand Kumar success story is there since 2002...But you found a Saif Khan and Shahrukh Khan worthy to give Padmashri....But never found an Anand Kumar to give a Padma Shri...Coz u guys r a big reason why rot prevail in India despite of greats like Anand Kumar living among us. So Guys if u watch super 30...You will be blessing urself. Watch it definitely and do so along with your family and kids, as it is also one of the rare wholesome family movie which all can watch together

‘Super 30’ Movie Review: A great start and a dumb finish to an extraordinary story. The very first thing that captivates you in Director Vikas Bahl’s Super 30 is the background score from the duo of Ajay-Atul. The alluring and tuneful composition can make you fall in love with it instantly and you will find yourself swaying involuntarily as if the sound waves have got you under their control. Super 30 begins with the romantic side of the story. As Anand Kumar (Hrithik Roshan’s exemplary performance keeps you engrossed) comes to see Ritu (Mrunal Thakur leaves her mark in a short spell), who is taking her Indian classical dance lessons, Ajay-Atul’s score in the background mesmerises you. The love angle seems to be attracting your attention as the nerdy Anand gives a love letter containing binary numbers to the ravishing Ritu. There’s an abrupt change in the narrative as the romance, that was building up between Anand and Ritu for a brief period, gives way to the more important matter at hand – which is the struggle of Anand Kumar and his perseverance towards assisting poor children to crack the most sought after engineering entrance exam in India. But this sudden change in the plot and its failure in registering the strong bond between Anand and Ritu keeps you wanting for more and you don’t feel for their separation. Anand Kumar, a real-life hero, on whom the movie is based, is lauded for his magnificent efforts towards bringing change, educating and preparing 30 poor kids every year for free of cost to help them get into Indian Institute of Technology. It’s the tough times that the movie focuses more upon. Written by Sanjeev Dutta, the film does engage you for the most part but loses its sheen in the second half... #Super30 Overall rating : 3/5 Parental guidance: Not required

The first scene of Super 30, directed by Vikas Bahl, unfolds like a patriotic WhatsApp forward. Here, we see a young Indian scientist, Phuga Kumar (Vijay Varma), deliver a speech in Hindi to an impressionable foreign audience. “That’s right, from India – a third-world country, a nation of cheap labour,” he says. “But then we think: Who is the worldwide head of Pepsico? Who’s running Unilever? Who’s running Mastercard, Vodafone, Deutsche Bank?” Phuga worked as a security guard in Bihar before enrolling in Super 30, a coaching institute preparing impoverished kids for IIT, started by Anand Kumar (Hrithik Roshan). Super 30, inspired by Anand Kumar’s life, continues juxtaposing India with the world. “Study like America,” says Shriram Singh (Pankaj Tripathi), the state’s education minister, in a speech. “India makes people – calculator people.” This point is further echoed when Kumar is thrown out of a library because he’s not a member. He can only get access, he’s told, if he authors a paper in a reputed (read: international) journal. Which he does and secures admission to Cambridge – there’s a scene at the post-office where Kumar’s father’s colleagues disparage him for dreaming big – but is eventually unable to attend, because of his financial condition. Kumar’s life can be seen through different lenses but Bahl brings to this story, right from the start, a strange form of insecurity and one-upmanship. Most stories, when told well, are greater than the sum of their parts. But Super 30 isn’t easily content: it wants to both tell a story and tell us how to feel about it. This wouldn’t have been as much of a problem if its hero, Roshan, demonstrated even a fleeting interest in Kumar, his journey, or the milieu.

Super30 is based on the talented mathematician #AnandKumar who runs an #IITJEE free training centre for under-privileged kids in #Bihar. The movie scores majorly well and is an amalgamation of facts and fiction. You cannot call it a biopic as there are quite a few over dramatic and theatrical moments. But you can afford to ignore them as the message conveyed in the end is quite important and the right way to move forward too . #Hrithik has probably delivered his career’s most convincing performance since #Jodhaakbar. His makeover and accent is little artificial to deal with initially and inconsistent at times but you get over it once you get into that character. Super30 kids are just awesome and have been rightly cast. #Pankajtripathi is solid with his usual sense of humour and other supporting cast is rightly fit. Overall a good one-time watch !!
